Cyclist James Lawrence from Texas A & M wrote from Charlotte:
We have less than a week left before the whole trip is done and we’re all full of conflicting emotions. Excitement that we’re finally reaching our destination, pride in accomplishing such an enormous feat, and a considerable amount of sadness that we’ll all go off our separate ways soon. It’s an incredibly bittersweet time and I’m sure it will be even more so once we get to DC.
